Governor Rotimi Amaechi, A President Like Putin

Have you been watching Rivers governor Rotimi Amaechi? What do you think of this man? Honestly? I am simply blown. I have no idea what he is looking for. APC may not give him the presidency spot. Nigeria and some in the APC are too backwards and bogged down in dumb sentiments to make such sensible choices. So what is Amaechi really after that makes him the most standup, revolutionary, daring and truth speaking Nigerian public figure today? The Jonathanians created a fake facebook page in which they pretended he wanted the APC chairmanship slot. That didn’t even fool 3 year-olds.

So what is Amaechi after? Why is he so true to the cause and unrelenting at it?
ENDS gave governor Amaechi the ‘Nigerian Revolutionary,’ award for 2013 in recognition of his outstanding revolutionary spirit. Have you rebelled? Rebelling is not limited to masses, it is simply a strong statement and defiance of the authorities that be, made in their faces, damning the odds. Governor Rotimi Amaechi rebelled before there was the need to. Remember, before there was anything like APC – the formidable opposition – Governor Amaechi had already gone rouge against the despotic Abuja regime. He had gone at ends with the president and his wife, before he even ever had a broad base.
This is a man from the same neck of the woods, who had every reason we more worthless Nigerians usually have to support ‘our own,’ because they are from our same locality and of course, because they are rich/in power. Before APC, governor Amaechi organized, worked with diverse governors and whopped the President’s behind, winning the chairmanship of the governors’ forum. Remember the 16>19 saga.

Perhaps governor Amaechi is so determined to help Nigeria get rid of this leadership because he really knows him. He knows if and how the first family really attended school, obtained (or didn't) their degrees. He knows the rituals, the robberies, the adoptions, the sacrifices, the abominations. Perhaps he knows the real secrets and as such knows he has to carry the mantle to save Nigeria from its painfully deadly predicament. Perhaps this is why Abuja cannot stand him – because they know he knows.

It was governor Amaechi that told us that we are fools – and it is because we see them stealing and do not stone them. Straight and blunt words; no spices, no bandages. He told us to our fasces, that if it was anywhere else in the world, people will have been on the streets. He said, ‘yes, stone me too.’ This is a real human being and an honest man. He is ready to die for our cause. He is ready for us to stone him too if that will make us stone the rapacious monsters in Abuja. He has stoned them, no one can deny this. He has thrown rocks at them. But have we? Have we acted in any way in our capacity that equals Amaechi’s actions in his? If we were him, will we have pandered to the authorities that throw the dice, or will we have dared to rebel and revolt as he continually does, being locked out of his government house, being harassed at every turn, yet staying steady in his mission to rescue Nigeria?

Governor Amaechi relates with his people and with the East, West and North. He is a friend to all and has a distinction in correspondence and active political strategization. It is no secret that he flew to Kano to influence the selection of the nation’s second highest Muslim leader, the new Emir of Kano. This dynamic man just does not give up and has no boundaries or limitations. When Abuja blocked them leaving Kano that night, potentially putting their lives in danger, we heard Amaechi personally took the steering wheel of the car and drove himself and other politicians with him to Abuja in the dead of the night. Now, is that not a man?

In the news today, he is at it again and Abuja just cannot stand it. He was there on the road, as usual, out of his car, personally challenging the soldiers from the Presidency who wished to deny him his legal right to travel to Ekiti to ensure there is no accident and the people there do not waste a single vote for a registered thief. Abuja just could not let him go. They blocked and arrested him. This is how afraid of him they are. This is how much they are ready to risk his life – by harassing him on the dangerous roads of Nigeria, putting him at risk of the deadly menaces that plague our nation under their government.
Yes, that brings us to an important topic – terror. If Amaechi was the president of Nigeria, Boko Haram insurgency would have long been a thing of the past, for history books. That is a fact. There can never be any such insurgency under Amaechi’s watch. He is a no nonsense man. He extends the olive branch that has poisonous spikes on it. And we have absolutely no issues with that. Go on, Amechi; Nigeria has no room for terrorists to be paid from our nation’s wallet, nor even space for them in our jails. Amaechi would have decimated Boko Haram just like Yar’Adua did – killed them all. No kid-gloves, romancing and arming the terrorists as the current wicked leadership does.

I will go for Amaechi for president any day. I will even go for a combination of Amaechi and Oby Ezekwesili for President and Vice. They have walked the walk, talked the talk and fought the fight. I don’t care what region they are from. If I need a spiritual leader, I’ll get that in my place of worship. If I need a tribal leader, I will get that in my village. For my president, I will choose a strong man or woman who is dynamic, strong, composed, charismatic and above all, has some brains in his head. An Amaechi presidency will bring back sense to Nigeria and will force our neighbors and even the colonial master to respect and fear us. Yes, like Putin. And like Putin, his people will love him and vote and re-vote for him, term after term after term.

How The Guys I Met On Social Media Rapéd Me Mercilessly

Dear ladies, be very careful. Not all guys you meet on the social media are genuine, especially now that too many chatting services are springing up here and there. Rough guys are taking advantage of ladies any how.

Following her nasty experience in the hands of guys, a young lady, Elizabeth John Adie, has given oral evidence about how she was gang-rapéd by a group of men she met through a social networking site, 2GO.
According to her, the guys picked her in an ash colour vehicle with unknown registration number to Aso B area where they threatened her with knives, searched her handbag and took her two blackberry phones, cash of N8,000 and other foreign currencies, before raping her.

The case was mentioned at the Upper Area Court, Mararaba Gurku, Nasarawa State. One of the accused, 22-year-old Agbo Emmanuel, a school certificate holder has been in police detention since the incident occurred but was brought to court on February 11, charged with criminal conspiracy, intimidation, extortion, causing hurt and rape, all contrary to sections 97, 397, 292, 244, and 283 of the Penal Code Laws of Nigeria.

According to the police First Information Report, the victim reported at the ‘A’ Division Police Station, in the Mararaba area of Nasarawa, close to Abuja state on February 1, 2014, that on the same day at about 13:30hrs at Aso B, one Agbo Emmanuel and three others, Bright Ochigbon, Junior Udewenga and Anita, now at large, conspired and deceived her through the 2GO social network.

Elizabeth said after taking the items from her, the bad boys went ahead to rapé her in turns, adding that she had tried to resist but was cut with a knife by one of them on her right finger.

The update on the sad case is that men of the Nigeria Police are still trying to track down those on the run.

SEE TROUBLE: This Emir Of Kano Must Not Be A Sanusi

Written by FOLA OJO
The desideratum was unmistakable, the determination was indubitable, and the expectation to have it signed, sealed and delivered by the kingmakers was without an iota of doubt. The immediate past Governor of the CBN, Lamido Sanusi, verbalised it publicly that he wanted to be the Emir of Kano and he did. His upstep unto the throne of his forefathers was greeted with much bickering, wrangling and haggling by those who wanted the same sceptre as widespread violence spread from uptown to downtown Kano after his ascension.
The new Emir had to take a quick flight from his new palace-home so that the irate mob would not run him over as he took refuge in the Kano State Government House which became an annex of the Emirate. “I may not be the best of the candidates, but I am the one God has chosen to lead”, he had said in a sermon to his faithful. But not many people bought this talking point.

Politicking of course was not unexpected in the city that has a large number of voters. All political parties threw their hats in the ring to gain an upper hand as they also keep their eyes as a flint on 2015.
Nigerians know Sanusi, but not this Emir of Kano. Sanusi and the Emir of Kano could be two different people, but his crowning attempts to merge both chores and personalities under one indivisible and inseparable royal authority. What is the difference between Sanusi and the Emir of Kano?
The Sanusi we know is a cerebral economist, an erudite bluestocking, and a man of immense understanding of banking credo, creed and cannon. I love his chatty loquacity, his convincing, sometimes voluble smooth-talk, his passionate delivery of facts and figures, his blunt dare of the adversaries’ daggers, and robust boastful rhetoric. Amidst innuendoes and unproven allegations, he was evicted from office as the CBN governor by a President who may end up being one of the finest political calculators that ever lived. Sanusi never believed President Goodluck Jonathan had the guts to greet him with a sack or suspension letter. But the President did.

Sanusi knew his onions in the banking industry, and he knows people. Two years in a row, he was named inEmerging Markets Magazine as the World’s Central Bank Governor of the year. In 2011, he was TimesMagazine’s one of the 100 most influential people in the world. The same year, he was Forbes magazine’s Africa’s Person of the Year. He was probably right about his claim that there is fraud in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and corrupt escapades in Diezani Alison-Madueke’s Petroleum Ministry, probably right about financial waywardness of our leaders. He was an activist who was relentlessly active about unearthing activities of frivolities in government. I watched many of his videos and listened to his talks splitting up the guts of the rot that has swallowed up the Nigerian nation and how the country can stride on forward, and I wondered why this guy wanted to be Emir, not the president of Nigeria. But he insisted he loves Nigeria.

What was Nigeria to Sanusi? Was it extreme Islam where one day everybody will be made to worship the Fulani god? And when did the love for Nigeria begin in him? Definitely, not in his days at the Suleiman Hall or Ribadu Hall at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and definitely not as an activist in the Muslim Students Society in Zaria, a group he helped form. He hated Nigeria then. He was an adjutant at the MSS, he helped conceive ideas how non-Muslims would be cowed down. At the King’s College in Lagos, he was shy, very austere with words; ask those guys who were in I. Johnson Hall in KC. Ask Senator Bukola Saraki who was one year behind Sanusi in the college. Sanusi was a sansui of strange and surreal Islamic fundamentalism. When he got to ABU, he became shrill with his faith.

What was Sanusi’s role in the public beheading of one Mr. Gideon Akaluka in Kano in 1995 on a false allegation of desecrating the Muslim holy book? His unabashed religious extremism got him cooling his heels in a Sokoto prison for two years under Sani Abacha. He had boasted that he would pay his way to the prison if he was found culpable in any mess as the CBN governor; according to him, prison was “just a location”. That’s him! So, he’s been there before? Does this then make him the first jailbird to become an Emir? Kano people can answer that.

With guts as the CBN Governor, he insisted on Islamic banking; with reprehensible and condemnable poltroonery, he donated N100m to Muslim victims of home-town Kano bomb blasts, then another N25m to the Christian victims in Madala, Niger State. Sanusi’s people (whoever they are) are better than anyone else, and the rest of us are serfs destined to serve forever. That was the doctrine of Sanusi, and he was unrepentantly haughty about it. This is the Sanusi we know. Now, no one can ever ask him to address any of these questions because Sanusi has melted off into the past, cloistered, swathed and swaddled up under the weighty and powerful regalia of the Emir of Kano.

The late Ado Bayero who Sanusi succeeded, was a different being who carried no baggage. He was Ado Bayero the banker, state representative, Kano police chief, and Nigeria’s ambassador to Senegal who cut out respect and reverence for himself and the territory he represented. His past was not divisive but very inclusive; a mediator in conflicts not a generator of one. A man of very few words yet endowed with a vast knowledge of the goings- on around the globe. Bayero was about freedom and fairness and was above board.

For 51 years, he etched his footprints on the sands of time in his domain where all-comers flourished and relished to reside. He was Emirs’ Emir! Knowing what we know about Sanusi, it’s fair to ask: What kind of fit will he be as Emir? What kind of world will Southern and Northern Christians live in in Kano under him? We don’t really know; all we knew was Sanusi, but time will soon reveal who this Emir is. Without any feeling of foreboding, I hope that this new Emir will not be a Sanusi!

Meet Ara, The Female Musician Who Predicted Kefee's Death

Her name is Ara and you all know her as a female drummer and singer, but when did she add spiritual things to her acts? I don't know. Ara, who is a friend to Late Kefee, disclosed on a Best of Nollywood’s chat forum that she had a dream concerning Kefee’s death and that she even called her to pray hard to avert it.
In her words: “I want to use this forum to appeal to my colleagues in the music industry. Less than two years ago, I had a dream about Keffee and immediately called her and narrated it to her, I also appealed to her not to make a joke of it...the rest is history...

"Early this year, I had a dream and contacted Efe of NOW music as he’s the only one I could call and told him to please organise a forum for all musicians to assemble and pray against death amongst us (please confirm from Efe). It’s sad we had to lose my girlfriend, sister and colleague...so sad.
"When a revelation comes like that, it means there is a way out. Once again, we need to come together as a body under one roof to rebuke and pray about this revelation I had early this year. Yes, we all have different sources of prayer but this is a prayer we all must observe together. I beg you all. I didn’t want to speak out but I have no choice than to”.
Wow, this is serious. Guys in the entertainment industry, make una pray o!

Naija Men Get Intimidate By My Big Side –Actress Oma Iyasara

Men generally don’t like marrying actresses, have you considered that?
Yes. I have thought of that but then, my man will love me for me because he is my man and my profession won’t make him love me less. A lawyer or banker is not better than an actress because every work place has its own negative part. Nigerians really need to be enlightened; acting is make belief and not all actresses are wayward. In fact, they make good wives.

Do men get intimidated by your size?
Yes. Some men actually get intimidated but I don’t blame them anyway.

Tell us about your boyfriend...
I am very much single.

What if your man asks you to stop acting?
When we get to that bridge, we will cross it. The man hasn’t come yet, but if he wants me to stop acting, he should better have a Plan B that will wow me.

They say actresses live above their means in order to meet up, do you do so as well?
That is a big lie. I cut my coat according to my material. If I can’t afford something, I make do with what I can.

Who would you rather play a love scene with in movies?
As long as he is good looking and doesn’t have bad breath, bring him on. I don’t mind the person.

How do you cope with male admirers?
I cope very well, I try not to let the admirers get to my head, and I know how to draw a line.

Will you act semi nudé in Nollywood?
That is a tough question. To be sincere, I don’t know. Let’s see what happens when the offer comes.

SEE The Most Handsome Armed Robbers Girls Are Dying For

It is a known secret that many girls love bad guys, but I don't understand why ladies would still be falling for a guy who has been caught and convicted for armed robbery. This one is kind of strange, please.
Anyway, that is the story of the cute guy above. He is 30years old Jeremy Meeks, who was arrested with four others during raids by the police in California, after series of shootings and robberies. According to Police he is one of the violent criminals in the Stockton area of California, but as soon as they release his photo online, it went viral with many ladies falling in love with his good looks and begging police to release him.
Ladies, I wonder why many of you love bad boys so much...

Speaking from his prison cell, the guy has a word for ladies: “I appreciate that. But I just want them to know that this is really not me. Like...I’m not some kingpin.” [meaning: "I might be cute, but I'm broke as hell."]

Pastor Impregnates 20 Ladies in his Church in Enugu, He Claims It Is Spiritual Order

The way some of our pastors behave these days is very worrisome. How else can I describe this one?

The Police in Enugu State have arrested Pastor Timothy Ngwu, the General Overseer of Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity, located in Nsukka, Enugu State. Before his arrest on Friday, the self acclaimed Pastor, who said he was obeying God’s command, has put no less than 20 members of his church in a family way.
Two of the women, who had left their husband and are now living with the General Overseer, Calista Omeje, and Assumpta Odo confirmed that they left their husband and went to the General Overseer based on the prophetic injunction to do the will of God.
Calista revealed that she is married to her husband with ten children, and that she was impregnated by Pastor Timothy, though the baby later died.
She further confirmed that she also gave out her daughter to the randy Pastor Timothy Ngwu to be impregnated in fulfilment of the Will of God...
Assumpta Odo also confirmed the development, pointing out that she is also married with eight children and that the pastor impregnated her as well as her daughter.
According to DailyPost, the spokesman of Enugu State Police Command, DSP Ebere Amaraizu, disclosed that “the pastor claims to be obeying prophetic and spiritual injunction to do the will of God, which is to impregnate any one chosen and revealed by the Holy Spirit, irrespective of whether the woman is married or not.
“When the woman is delivered of the baby, the child remains in the ministry with the mother for life”.

Amaraizu said “Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity, located at Umudikwere, Ihe/Owere Nsukka in Enugu was not known until a police officer, DSP Gloria Udoka, and her operatives from the Anti Child Trafficking unit of the state criminal and investigation department stormed the place based on the complaint they received from wife of the Pastor, Veronica Ngwu, bordering on séxual abuse of people in the ministry, which has brought about indiscriminate pregnancy among married and single women in the ministry.

“According to Veronica, her husband used to be a well known catechist in Nsukka Catholic”.

It was further disclosed that acting under the same alleged will of God, the Pastor got his wife’s niece pregnant. “Some of the members’ wives are now living with him after he impregnated all of them.”

Reacting to the allegations against him, Pastor Timothy Ngwu stated that he has about five wives with thirteen children, apart from other concubines, who came as a result of the prophetic Will of God.

He claimed that he does not do anything with married women until full consent and agreement is reached by him and the husband of the woman in line with the directives of the holy Spirit.
Wonders shall never end!

I'm A Virgin, Boko Haram Should Sleep with Me & Free the Girls —Séxy Singer Adokiye

Chai!!! those crazy Boko Haram guys are being offered what they are killing themselves for. It is believed that one of the "lie" their leaders tell them is that if they fight Jihad and die, they will get 7 virgins in heaven. So, now that a beautiful lady like Adokiye is offering them her "thing", will they release Our Girls?

Adokiye, a 23-year-old singer, had boasted that the first man she would open her legs for must be ready to buy her mum an expensive gift, a private jet. But the plight of the kidnapped Chibok girls has touched her.
The beautiful singer said she is ready to open it for the dreaded Boko Haram. In her words:
“This is 11pm in the night and do you know what I am thinking about? Those little girls, where they are and what could be happening to them. It is just unfair. They are too young. I wish I could offer myself in exchange.”

Showtime reminded her that the girls could be making out time as s*x slaves, and the singer/actress retorted:
“They are between 12 and 15 year old girls for Christ sake. I am older and more experienced. Even if 10 to 12 men have to take me every night, I don’t care. Just release these girls and let them go back to their parents.”
Boko Haram, please do the needful and release those innocent girls.

EKITI ELECTION: The People Have Elected Their Governor

The people of Ekiti have chosen the man who will lead them for the next 4 years. The results are pouring in..

Expect more authentic results as #EkitiDecides.
=================================
Friday night was a terrible experience for some associates of APC, Governor Kayode Fayemi as the soldiers in the state were said to have launched a crack down against his top aides. His campaign manager who is a member of the House of Reps and the state Commissioner for Finance were allegedly grabbed by soldiers acting on orders from above. Anyway, the APC leadership has send out a strong warning.

Election going on. PDP members are sharing Indomie Noodles to bribe voters:

=================================
Source on ground in Ekiti say the election is taking place, in spite of all the tension and the people are ready to cast their votes. As the people of Ekiti State decide on who their next governor would be through their votes, the three major political parties in the state have been grossly engaged in a battle of wills.
The major candidates contesting for the governorship election are Governor Kayode Fayemi (APC) Mr. Ayo Fayose (PDP) and Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele (LP).
Below are what to expect in Ekiti with the tensed atmosphere...
Seven hundred and thirty-two thousand, one hundred and sixty-six voters registered for the election that is being conducted across 2,195 polling units in the state with 177 wards.

Of the 732,166 registered voters, 134,141 are in Ado Local Government Area; 22,845 in Efon Alaaye; 47,293 in Omuo; 42,285 in Aramoko; 40,856 in Ilawe; 27,091 in Emure; 42,267 in Ode, 43,070 in Ido; 49,274 in Ijero; 35,099 in Ise; 40,570 in Otun, and 49,918 in Oye.

The governorship candidates are banking on their areas of stronghold as one of the major factors that would earn them victory.

According to investigation, the three candidates are popular in Ekiti Central Senatorial District of the state.

Fayose and Bamidele hail from Irepodun-Ifelodun Local Government Area, but with different categories of supporters. While Fayose was said to have depended on commercial motorcyclists and some civil servants for support, Fayemi depends on the elite and professionals, among others. Bamidele relies on some factions of the APC and the PDP.

Fayemi’s deputy, Prof. Modupe Adelabu, who is from the Ekiti Central, also makes the APC candidate to be popular in the senatorial district.

Fayemi’s popularity in Ekiti North Senatorial District, where he hails from, is also an advantage to him.

Investigation has, however, shown that the three major parties would share votes in Ado, Ikere, Efon and Irepodun-Ifelodun local government areas.

While PDP was also said to be popular in Ise-Orun and Ikole local government areas, APC is a major dominant party in Ekiti West and Ijero local government areas.

In Emure Local Government Area, LP is a dominant party, while APC and PDP are popular in Ekiti East and Oye local government areas.

The LP is likely to also share votes with PDP in Ido-Osi Local Government Area, but in Gboyin, Moba and Ekiti South-East local areas, APC and PDP will slug it out in their attempts to win votes.

The investigation, however, revealed that APC would carry the day in Ilejemeje Local Government Area.

The governorship candidates have, however, carried their campaign trains to various organisations, groups and individuals to seek support.

The candidates have also visited traditional rulers in their various palaces for royal blessing.

They promised effective leadership through the initiation and implementation of robust and people-friendly policies.

During their various campaigns, the candidates listed areas that would occupy their priorities with emphasis on workers’ welfare and investment in education.

For instance, Governor Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Congress during the week took to Twitter in the last leg of his campaign for second term in office. Fayemi brought to fore the achievements recorded by his administration in the first term.

He tweeted, “Dear Ekiti people, it is four days to that day when we have to choose wisely. Let’s remember it’s one man, one vote as we cast our votes.

“For almost four years now, my team and I focused on restoring public confidence in government by putting the people first.

“We put the people first in development planning and execution by interacting with them on what their needs are.

“We reformed governance on the basis of openness, transparency, selfless-service, priority and accountability in the management of public funds.

“The results are there for all to see in the programmes and social welfare that we have delivered so far.

“I am inspired by those of you who strongly believe in the values of honour and integrity to continue to cast your lot with us.”

To seek sustained royal blessing, the APC candidate promised to continue to accord the welfare of Ekiti traditional rulers an utmost priority for them to perform the task of ensuring peace and stability in the state.

He stated this early in the week in Ado Ekiti while presenting vehicles to Attah of Ayede-Ekiti, Oba Mumini Orisagbemi, and the Olupole of Ipole-Iloro, Oba Oladele Babatola.

Represented by his Special Adviser, Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Aderemi Ajayi, Fayemi said all the monarchs in the 131 towns in the state were presented vehicles by his administration in 2013 with the exemption of the two traditional rulers, who had not ascended the throne at that time.

During last weekend rally organised by the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union of Congress in his support, the APC candidate promised workers that his government would promote their welfare. Urging the people to come out on Saturday to vote for him, he said, “Nobody can intimidate us. It is true there are soldiers and police in town. We are the one paying their salary so they are here to protect us.”

PDP Begs Ex-Governors Osoba and Sheriff To Dump APC

The quest for the leadership of Nigeria in 2015 has commenced and considering the large crowd of Nigerians at the Eagle Square in Abuja last weekend, it became clearer to the PDP that it is no longer business as usual and they have to do more if they must make any appreciable impact against APC.
Consequently, strong indications have emerged that President Goodluck Jonathan and PDP are wooing some group of politicians who are not getting what they want in the APC, such as Chief Olusegun Osoba and Alhaji Alimodu Sheriff, the alleged Boko Haram creator in Borno State.

A member of the PDP National Working Committee, who pleaded anonymity because he was not permitted by the party to speak on the issue, confirmed the secret moves by the Presidency:
“I can tell you that the Presidency and the PDP have been reaching out to the former governor and his group. We believe that Osoba is strong politically and he will add value to our party. We need him and his group to win Ogun and neutralise Obasanjo’s influence.”

According to Punch, since the crisis in Ogun State’s APC remained intractable, the Presidency and the PDP had intensified efforts to convince Osoba’s group to dump APC and defect to the PDP.

It was gathered that the calculation of the PDP was that the defection of the former governor and his supporters would shore up Jonathan’s chances in the 2015 presidential election in the state.

The crisis in Ogun APC worsened on Friday when Osoba, the state Deputy Governor, Prince Segun Adesegun, who is a political godson of the former governor, and all members of the National Assembly from the state, boycotted the APC national convention in Abuja.

Osoba’s group had disagreed with the state Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, over the conduct of the congress of the party in the state. Osoba and his loyalists had, on May 29, 2014, rejected sharing of party offices with Amosun’s faction of the APC.

The ex-governor hinted at the possibility of leading his supporters out of the APC. Addressing his supporters, he said, “As I stand before you, I swear before God and Jesus Christ, my Lord, I promise you all that the issue of forgiveness is no more. If you stand firmly as a warrior, that is enough for me; if you are ready, there is no more room for reconciliation. If thousands of people prostrate; it is what you want that I will do; it is what you say that I will say; I will stand where you stand; I want to appeal to you, don’t be distracted.”

But when contacted, the Senator representing Ogun East, Adegbenga Kaka, said, “For now, I can only speak for myself. I am sure we (in the Osoba faction) will meet, harmonise our position and make it known at the appropriate time.”

Also, sources in Abuja told toheebabiola.blogspot.com that Senator Sheriff is already in contact with the Presidency and the PDP, and it is only a matter of time before he joins the PDP as the APC is not comfortable with him.

The Chairman of the PDP in Ogun State, Chief Bayo Dayo, confirmed that the party was discussing with the APC group led by Osoba. He stated, “Negotiations are always going on in all political parties. It was going on in the APC when our people were defecting to them. We have their people defecting to our party in a very large scale now.”
But in its reaction, the state spokesman for the APC, Mr. Sola Lawal, said: “The claim of defection only exists in the foggy imagination of the PDP in Ogun State. Available statistics has it that membership strength of the PDP in Ogun State stands at 13,638.

“If 50,000 former members of another party join them, it simply means their rank has been invaded or they have been overrun. To maintain a modicum of sanity in the face of heightened popularity of Amosun’s APC, the PDP can only romanticise delusionary mental acrobatics.”

Pope Francis Rejects A Bulletproof Car; Says It's Not Necessary Because He Loves People

I decide to share this due to the kind of leaders we have in Nigeria today, political and religious. In our country things are so bad that almost every big pastor drives around in a bulletproof Jeep, some even own Limousine that move them from one event to another for security purpose, toheebabiola.blogspot.com observed.
But if you are worshipping God truly, you shouldn't be afraid to die; you should be ready to die any time. As you read this, the unique Pope Francis, who is surprising the world everyday with his acts of kindness and show of love, has refused to use the Bulletproof Popemobile because he believes there is no need to "hide".

Here is what the peaceful-loving Pope told a Spanish newspaper, La Vanguardia:
"I remember in Brazil, they'd provided for me an enclosed Popemobile, but I cannot greet the people and tell them I love them inside a sardine can, even if it is made of glass. For me it is a wall. It is true something could happen to me but let's be realistic, at my age I do not have much to lose. I know what could happen, but it is in God's hands."
Pope Francis added that his conscience is clear hence he has no reason to fear...

The bulletproof Popemobile was introduced after the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II in 1981, and favored by Pope Francis's predecessor Benedict XVI. But to Pope Francis, such is not necessary.

Vatican officials aren't particularly happy with this choice, and are said to have voiced fears for his safety during recent appearances in Jordan, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem. They were also unhappy with his decision to, last July, tour Rio de Janeiro in, according to The Independent, "an open-topped white jeep along the sea front of Copacabana beach."

The Pope is insisting that he is not afraid of anything or anyone and has no reason to be hiding. #GoodMan
